AMY'S DOCKSIDE BAR AND GRILL – Riverside Dining with Classic Bar & Grill Favorites in South Williamsport

This place is new, so I want to say it feels a whole lot better than the previous ownership. I got the fish and chips. The fish was a bit cold and the breading was a bit soggy. This tells me they cooked it, and it sat a bit before being served. The fries were hot and crispy. The fish breading, coleslaw, and tartar sauce also lacked flavor (maybe add some garlic). This is the reason it is 4 stars instead of 5. The beer batter needs work. Maybe ask the Bullfrog how they make theirs because it's one thing they get right. My wife had a burger and it was great according to her. Like I said, this place has a good feeling, though we were a bit confused about how and where to sit to get service, so we sat at the bar even though there were open tables by the windows. I think it was the owner that came to us with menus as we had sat there a few minutes with no contact.

We ate here as a suggestion from the hotel staff and weren’t disappointed! The food was yummy, my beer was cold and my wife’s martini, excellently made. We enjoyed the helpful staff and will definitely be back! We did four stars on atmosphere because the TV by us was on the nature channel and had bugs on that do well as an appetizer. Otherwise the music was fun and being by the water and train tracks was a bonus.

Going to Amy’s after being a patron at the former establishment was a breath of fresh air. The staff is amazing, my bartender Shelly made great drinks and she’s very personable!

We recently rented out the upstairs area for my sister’s 30th birthday. The rental space alone is so perfect! It’s so cute, we didn’t even need decorations! Also, it is so spacious! There’s even a little lounge area that has a projector and they were able to cast the football game for all the men! There is also an independent touch tunes upstairs so you can play whatever music you like, instead of listening to what’s played downstairs! The view of the river is so nice and peaceful! Amy was also so nice and helpful! We will definitely utilize the space again in the future!!!

Party of 8! The food, the service, and the atmosphere were delightful. From the crab dip, which was delicious, to the fish dinners, everything was so good. The bartender, Shelly, was an added plus. She was kind, caring, and beautiful. Thank you, we will be back. Oh, the place was beautifully decorated. My granddaughter came out of the ladies' restroom saying, 'Nonnie, you have to go see how nice and clean that bathroom is.' She's 9. Kudos to the staff.
